Here are a selection of images from the first film I took of the walk from my childhood home to the primary school I attended. I have been walking this route repeatedly over the past year. Interrupted by the latest lockdown I started wondering what to do with the images. I’d like to try producing an artist book in the style of Roni Horn’s “Another Water” – an artist book with numbered footnotes, ruminating on water and death, below photographs of water from the River Thames.
I’m going to try my hand at writing some prose in an autotheoretical style like that of Maggie Nelson in “Bluets”.
Read my previous post, “A trip down memory lane”, on how I got started on this project.
